Today, we began by creating name cards.  Then, we answered the following questions for writing into the day:

• What are your goals for this course?
• What do you hope to be able to know or do when you leave this course?

Next, we played the Name Game during which we learned each other's names by connecting them with motions.

We also talked about a few of the course objectives and expectations.  (See slides 2 & 4-10 on the PowerPoint).  All material for the course is on Moodle.  You can get to Moodle using the CPCC homepage or by going to moodle.cpcc.edu.

Finally, we created blogs using blogger.com.

Homework:

• Create a blog and email Megan the link. (Email address: megan.keaton@cpcc.edu)
• Download and read the syllabus.  Come with questions about the syllabus tomorrow.
